FROM THREE VISIONARY ENTREPRENEURS TO 1.800 EMPLOYEES

Lütfi Aygüler, the Chairman of Balnak Logistics, underlined that future of logistics sector is combined -or in other words- intermodal transportation, and added: “Long distances will surely be covered via sea or railway.”

 

Balnak, which was founded in 1986 with an office for 3 people in Salı Pazarı, İstanbul, began air and sea transport organizations in 1988. Balnak obtained IATA (International Air Transport Association) License in 1990. It turned into a company with 100 percent Turkish capital in 1995 with institutional reconstruction process, which started with the purchase of shares that belonged to a German partner. It gained strength in 2008 by merging with İzmir Logistics Group. Today, Balnak is one of the most significant players of its sector with 1.800 employees, 190.000 sq m storage area and a turnover of 140 million euros.
