Gökalp Çak, the General Manager of İntercombi Transport and Logistics, states that 2010 was a vintage year and increase in production and consumption levels served all logistics and transport operators. “In 2010, our Group recorded 29 percent growth. Although there are not certain data for the entire logistics sector, I can tell that the sector grew at a level higher than Turkey’s overall growth rate,” comments Mr. Çak and states that they will lunge in 2011 for domestic partial distribution of food and non-food products. Emphasizing that they have increased their cold chain storage and distribution capacities, Mr. Çak continues, “For international operations, we are bringing air and maritime transportation some more to the forefront and accordingly, structuring with our overseas offices.
