Sönmez Bustaş, one of the prominent international transport companies in Bursa, increased its turnover and business volume by 20 percent in 2010. Fahrettin Arabacı, the General Manager of Sönmez Bustaş says, “We increased our turnover but the mounting fuel costs and low currency rates caused our profitability to rise only by 5 percent.”
Regarding their 2011 expectations, Arabacı states that they anticipate increase of 10 percent in business volume, 20 percent in turnover and 10 percent in profitability but he adds that the change in fuel costs will determine the process.
Sönmez Bustaş offers 4-7 days of delivery time for transport operations between Turkey and Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. Fahrettin Arabacı claims that they create difference by the integrated services they offer for transport of dangerous goods (ADR), frigorific transportation and storage at their bonded and free warehouses.
Arabacı says that they run the traffic in Europe and Central Europe through their collaborations in Germany, Romania and Greece and they aim to improve their business volume even further. >>> |
