Ulusoy Sea Lines Management Inc., started operations in 1980 as a shipping agency. Following the experience of 15 years gained in the sector, the company became a ship owner in 1995 by purchasing RO-RO vessels. Commencement of the Samsun – Novorossiysk regular RO-RO line established by Ulusoy Sea Lines created an important trade link between Turkey and Russia. In order to meet the demands of the transporters, Ulusoy started to put additional modern vessels with higher capacities into service under its own management, certified with ISM, ISPS and ISO 9001.
Ulusoy Sea Lines provides services by the help of more than 300 staff located at the headquarters in İstanbul and branches in İzmir, Samsun and Zonguldak. Today, Ulusoy Sea Lines Management Inc. has the second largest RO-RO fleet in Turkey. They have five RO-RO cargo vessels in operation and will take the delivery of three N.B RO-RO Cargo vessels each at 22 knots, and 4.170 lanemeters from Flensburg Shipyard (FSG) Germany in 2012 and 2013. >>> |
